Core Values

The board of directors is currently made up of the original founding members of Marketplace Ministries Worldwide.
Our original set of Core Values outlines those things that are important to us as we carry out our work.
These are the Critical Success Factors that direct how we operate:

Christ-Centered
The focus of all activity and investment is to increase the ministry of Jesus Christ. All profit from business
development will be utilized for the advancement of God’s kingdom with emphasis on the poor and marginalized.

Community Based
Business development will primarily be focused in communities where a local church ministry is present.
We seek to deepen relationships in those communities so that our business prayerfully becomes an added blessing.

Increased Ministry Capacity
Our desire is to direct the fruit of profitable business ventures towards ministries that seek to honor Christ,
evangelize the lost and empower people to become all that God intends for them to be, with emphasis on
leadership development.

Meaningful Investment
Business as Mission is an investment strategy for the Kingdom. When the unknown boy faithfully offered up his
meager lunch of fish and bread (John 6:1-15), God miraculously multiplied it. We seek to obediently offer our skills,
connections and resources so that God can multiply them in a sustainable strategy.

Sustainable Strategy
We invest in and support the business models that will generate earned income while doing biblically honoring,
community based business. Our goal is that all of our businesses will become self-sustainable as quickly as possible.
