We are “creating an economy” at the local level, where it does the most good. By generating incremental opportunity for people who need a job, we are directly impacting the economic realities of Cambodia’s demographic imbalance which proliferates poverty.
$ – Donations and grants to MMW are pooled and sent to our subsidiary organization in the country where they operate.
Local Currency – In the case of a new business, funds are converted to the local currency and used as startup capital.
BAM Jobs – Startup capital provides for facilities, initial launch, staffing, training, marketing, and ramp up of operations, providing holistically for employee needs.
Sustainability – When business becomes profitable, earnings are reinvested in expansion or seed funds for new ventures. Enterprise is registered with local government, pays taxes, and operates as part of the community.
Healthy Families – Providing fair and consistent income empowers families to provide for their basic needs and avoid oppressive exploitation. Medical coverage enables them to maintain wellness and avoid debilitating illness that perpetuates poverty.
Transformation – Again and again we witness the transforming love of Jesus in individual lives, families and communities.
